Naruto Episode 2 , "My Name is Konohamaru!" , continues right after Naruto Uzumaki graduates from the Ninja Academy.   Summary: After passing the exam in Episode 1, Naruto is now a full-fledged genin. He meets Konohamaru Sarutobi , the grandson of the Third Hokage. Konohamaru wants to defeat his grandfather and become Hokage but feels overshadowed by his famous lineage. Seeing Naruto as someone who isn't recognized despite his dream of becoming Hokage, Konohamaru follows him, hoping to learn the "shortcut" to becoming strong.   The first episode of Naruto (titled "Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!" in English) introduces viewers to the world of the Hidden Leaf Village and its mischievous protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki .     Plot Summary: The episode opens with a flashback of the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama) attacking the Hidden Leaf Village. The village’s leader, the Fourth Hokage (Minato Namikaze) , sacrifices his life to seal the powerful beast inside a newborn baby— Naruto Uzumaki . Years later, Naruto is a troublemaking orphan who struggles for attention and respect from the villagers, who secretly despise him because of the demon fox inside him. Naruto constantly pulls pranks, like painting graffiti on the Hokage Monument, and struggles academically in the Ninja Academy.
